67 72 Ford Pickup Under Bed Steel Gas Tank, 340 lph Fuel Pump & Sending Unit

  

Here we have a new under bed steel fuel tank, in-tank fuel pump and fuel level sending unit for 1967 - 1972 Ford pick-ups using a modern EFI fuel injection engine. Our part number is F6772-HT. They are built by Tanks Inc.

And measure 32-1/4" x 20-1/2" x 9-3/4" including the flanges (28" x 20-1/2" x 9-3/4" without). This tank mounts under the truck bed using the flanges to bolt in place. The tank is designed to bolt up to the bottom side of the frame rails but it can be mounted in different configurations including on top or even in-between the rails in some cases. It is up to the installer to drill and locate the mounting holes. If installing in a stock frame the rear cross member will need to be notched to fit. It has a stub filler neck with a 6" long fuel filler hose (we also have a version with a 2" neck and aluminum cap - F6672-T).

It has a large fuel pump tray already installed and prevents fuel starvation. Made of galvanized steel and powder coated silver on the outside.

This is the preferred pump for fuel injection based swaps. The assembly has the pressure port, the return port and a vent port. (They are 1/4 npt female). The pump and sending unit are not installed.
